The scripture featured below (Deuteronomy 28:2) is a powerful verse, yet it’s simple. Consider the word “if,” included there. It’s a tiny, two-letter word, but what weight it holds in this promise!

God’s Word is sure because he “cannot lie” (Titus 1:2, KJV). Moreover, he’s faithful! Nonetheless, in the case of your blessedness, you are required to participate.

Have you ever been under the tidal wave of God’s overtaking blessings? —To the point that you knew, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that HE did it? 

The more I obey His voice, ignoring my own thoughts and reasoning, the more I am overtaken by blessings!

That’s the result of obedience! All you must do is say NO to your flesh (your emotions, logical thinking, deliberate deductions, and five senses) and say YES to the voice of the LORD your God.

What is the voice of the LORD your God? His word. It’s SIMPLE; God is for you. Be encouraged!

“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” 1 Corinthians 10:13, NLT

Pray: Father, I have no doubt that you want me to be abundantly blessed. I declare that the temptations of my flesh have no power over me. I ask that you grant me the grace that I need to walk in radical obedience to Your voice. Amen.
